I'm stunned

An overwhelming bit o' news, me dears. Some shots of the recently recovered Metropolis have been released.

This is awesome news. When it's finally been renovated (de-crapped) it'll be something worth seeing, for sure. Even if it does extend it, and it's already 2 and something hours long. But I have to say I love Brigitte Helm in Metropolis, because she's just so effin crazy as false Maria, it's funny to watch.

As everyone (should) know, I became an extreme fan of Fritz Lang (and of course Peter Lorre) after seeing 'M'. And, I should note, many of the film-appreciating peoples out there agree with me when I say: M was the best damn film Lang ever made, and probably the best film out there. Everyone mentions M when they talk about Lorre; even in Paul Merton's documentary on Hitchcock, he mentioned Peter Lorre (who plays the bad guy in 'The Man who knew too much' original) and referenced M. COZ EVERYONE NOS IT WAS HIS BESTEST ROLE!!!!!1!111!!lololol.

Anyway. I've been overwhelmed by so many things today, I have actually lost the ability to speak. Not kidding. Hopefully it'll come back by Monday.

The birth of a new blog

Come, ye mortal beings, come and celebrate the birth of a new blog! Come and party, throw money in the air, scream, shout, kick little toddlers out of a window, burn down a building, CELEBRATE!

I'm not abandoning my older one. I'm just creating a new one, a sort of younger sibling for bobeth.blogspot.com .

Why? Jus' cuz, and because it signifies the 'new life' that has just emerged for me. Technically it isn't a new life, it's an old one, revisited. And I am welcoming it back. Hello!

I have yet to decide what kind of materials are to be published in each blog, but until then... MUH.
